2012 has arrived and is bringing refreshed energy with her; I hope we can all use this energy to our advantage and for the benefit of others and the universe.
I trust that everyone has a love filled Christmas season and a happy New Year, Angel’s Psychic realm would like to take this moment to wish you and your family a safe and prosperous 2012.
January is a good time to clear our space, physically and emotionally and I thought this would be a great start to our newsletter.
The physical is easy, donate, recycle or throw out everything that we no longer have a need for, why have it taking up space if someone else is able to make use of it.
This allows greater and more productive energy flow into and through our lives and places of work.
Remember to de-clutter your home, work space and car.
The emotional works on many levels, however I think we will start with just one, Creating Sacred Space.
All of us need our own space from time to time, somewhere to gather our thoughts, focus our ideas or simply to empty our minds to relax and shed some of the day’s stresses.
Today we are working with the simple idea of your own personal Sacred Space; this can of course be extended to include creating Sacred Altar Space and Sacred Circles.
Firstly find a suitable location, for some of us being outside is the perfect location, in that case I suggest a small decorated box to put a few crystals and incense and a candle in to create a portable Sacred Space, also a brilliant idea for traveling as this can also contain a few of your favourite books or music CD anything that helps to create your Sacred Space no matter where you are.
Creating Sacred Space.
The location for your Sacred Space can be a small part of a larger room or if you are lucky a room all to yourself.
Create your Altar; this can be a small shelf or small table.
Bring together your chosen objects which can include athame, goblets, spell books, incense, CD’s, smudge sticks and crystals.
Place them within your space and burn a smudge or incense and on a piece of paper write all the positive things you wish to achieve and on the other side all of the negative things in your life you would like to change into positive energy.
Read the positive energy list light a candle and say
"These Sacred things that I see
Make them all a part of me
Help me raise the energy!"
Now visualize each item from your list rising up off of the paper to brighten the
white, purifying light around you.
Fold the paper without looking at the negative list
Now say aloud:
"Cleanse the Space inside of me
And rid all negativity
I accept no less -
So Mote It Be"
Put the ash and burnt paper out in a bowl of water to absorb the negative energy.
Do this once a week for 4 weeks then once a month to reinforce the energy.
You can change the list each time if you wish.
Crystal Magic
Amethyst has been known for eons of time as the stone of spirituality and the stone to assist in alcohol recovery. It will assist in overcoming any addiction. It calms and soothes the emotions as well as preparing the soul for intense transformational journeys. Amethyst is also a stone of prosperity based on its deep and glorious color.
